PAYPAL HOLDING PAYMENTS

I too have just discovered that PayPal are holding back payments on my account

I keep my account in good order, always post items as a soon as I recieve payment, have 100% feedback good DSRs, what more does this 'outfit' want? its obvious isn't it, the want even more interest, we are even paying interest on our ostage charges as these are incuded with the selling price of an item.

None of the rules for holding payments apply to me so why all this nonsense.

Some buyers do not always leave feedback which is not the fault of the seller yet the seller gets penalised.

I shall be closing my Paypal account and going elsewhere which also means closing my Ebay account. At the end of the day I am also a customer and expect better treatment than this.

Have read through the messages and note that the seller can contact Paypal once they have recieved feedback so as t get funds released. Why should a seller have to do all this.

Paypal emailed me a person's details in Nigeria asking me to send to that person £100 so that their processing department resolve the errors in my account and release the payment made by the buyer. Why is this? Now they said that they returned the money back to the buyer who received the item I sold and who is now asking me to send  her £100 so that she will be able to send my payment!!What a **bleep** is this? can anyone explain to me please please? Have I been roobed twice, victim of a scam? I trusted Ebay and Paypal!!   was I wrong to do so? Help please....

In Paypa's defence (and I hate them with a vengeance) they would NEVER write to you from Nigeria, or ask you send fund to get your funds released, so it does sound as though you have been robbed twice.

As a seller, yes, you were wrong to trust eBay and Paypal

Im fairly new to paypal, and would like to know why all my payments I receive are pending? It gives me a date for when this will clear, which is a few weeks later. How am I supposed to pay postage for 12 items if I have not received payment and postage fees? People then start to get angry that delivery is taking a long time and demand a refund. I don't understand? Or is this how it works?  Any advice much appreciated : D

Oh hon, it's unfortunately a sad case of "scew you, sellers, you can "borrow" money for postage and we'll just rack up interest on your money"

I've had this when I was a new seller, and now, years later, suddenly again!

I have sold over £80 worth of stuff on eBay, then bought items thinking i had the money in papal only to find out it is pending for up to 3 weeks. So now the sellers are now reporting me to eBay and i lose my item and still can't get to my money. I understand papal are trying to protect buyers but it is really unfair on sellers and i will defiantly not be selling on eBay or using papal again!
