Stop Payment (from my bank) for a Completed Transaction (on PayPal)

Hello everyone.

I need some assistance and time is of the essence. I made a purchase yesterday for some online goods. The seller had tricked me into using the "sending money to family and friends option". He mentioned that he will only sell it to me if I paid the extra fees and that way seemed the only way possible. Unfortunately for me, I did not realize that because of this method, I can no longer open up a dispute of the charge.

As of right now, this transaction is noted as COMPLETED in my history. However, the payment was to go through my bank which it had not actually withdrawn the money as of yet. My first question is, am I able to call my bank and put a stop payment on that transaction so that the money is never withdrawn? Technically, I know the answer is yes but I want to know what the status of my PayPal would be after this. I still plan to use my PayPal and I've contacted the seller many times and no refund will be issued on his end.

All in all, I am NOT interested in what he had to sell because I was given false pretenses. I was tricked into paying using the family/friends method, therefore I could NOT open a dispute. The only logical way out of this is to put a stop payment through my bank but I need to know what would happen if I did as I am currently a verified account.

Please let me know ASAP! TY.

If u used funds from your ppal balance u wont be able to do anything about that
