Paypal Dummy

I purchased an item from a website called softonstore.com about two days ago.  The confirmation said it would take 24 hours for the order to process.  The payment has already hit my account.  The payment was processed through paypal.  When I attempt to visit the website and download my purchase, the website comes up unavailable.   I have the merchant's information (name, email, and international phone number).  I believe the mercant is chinese.  I just signed up for paypal so I could try to get some help.  I never used paypal before and I do not know what to do to insure that I receive my purchase.  Please help?

If you cannot resolve your issue with the seller, you have 45 days from the date of purchase to open a Dispute.

Contact the website.  IF they don't make it right, file an `Item not Recieved` dispute to get your funds back.

Please do not wait... initiate a PayPal dispute immediately!

I got nailed by the same scam on May 1... submitted my order, waited for confirmation and never got a response.

I sent several emails to the seller at the following address provided on the paypal receipt but never got any response!

I was able to log into the Softonstore.com web site for a few days and eventually figured out there was an account set up for me in the "Customer Service" area to download the software from, but what I was able to download does not install. I tried to go back for help but since 5/4 the Softonstore site has been unreachable!

I spoke to PayPal disputes today. If they get enough complaints to indicate a pattern they will go after the guy as he routes his credit card payments through PayPal.

Good luck!
