problem with eBay Bucks

I earned $104 in eBay Bucks last period. So yesterday I used PayPal to check out on a $350 eBay purchase I made and during checkout the $104 looked like it was being applied; it showed my total amount, minus the eBay Bucks credit and the new reduced balance. But today when I checked my PayPal balance, the whole amount was debited from my balance. When do I get the credit for the eBay Bucks? Shouldn't it be there already? I went to eBay summary page and looked at the transaction history and it does show the credit and the reduced amount I should have been billed. There seems to be a problem, I am not a newbie. Thanks for your help!

Call PayPal? No, do you see a phone number somewhere? How about eBay? Do you have a way to call them? If you do, please, by all means, call them or share those numbers! Ever hear of a "live" person to call at either site? Not I!!!

To call PayPal, login to your PayPal account and click on the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of the page... there you will find instructions and the PayPal phone number for your account.

Ebay Bucks is a rip off. I received the certificate and have purchased three different items. In spite of following the "step by step" directions I have not received one penny of the credit.

I am yet another eBayer whose eBay bucks were not applied, though it is indicated as a credit in the transaction. Why isn't this being addressed and remedied???

I chatted online with PayPal tech support last night and they said their engineers are working on the problem and they expect that it will be resolved in 72 hours or less. Supposedly they will issue another eBay Bucks certificate which can be redeemed on future purchases. (So we are getting sucked into more purchases to redeem credits we have already earned. Not sure if I like this...)

Wow, that is so lame! That's not right! eBay is renegging on their word! There is absolutely NO EXCUSE for them to not correct the current transactions and issue credits to those who "earned" them! Especially in your case, kw575, as that's a lot of credit you're due! I will to to bat on this as well...stay tuned!

I am also having problems with trying to redeem my ebay bucks. It has now been going on for over a week and I have emailed and phoned customer service numerous times and they keep telling me to "be patient" and that it can take up to 72 hours to resolve. I am becoming increasingly frustrated with this. I asked them to issue me another redemption code that would work and they say their "technical staff" is working on the problem. It is decieving for ebay to reward these "bucks" and the customer not able to redeem them.

I am having the same problem as all the others. My transaction didn't even acknowledge the ebay bucks at all. I contacted ebay and chatted with one of their representatives, but after over 30 minutes and me waiting all that time, he came back with an answer of...I need to contact PayPal. I asked him what PayPal had to do with it since ebay initiated the transaction? I asked, what could PayPal do? He just basically said I need to contact them to see why it didn't get credited. In other words, I didn't get an answer at all, just the run around.
