4 Digit Confirmation Code

Hi,

I have tried to connect my bank account to my PayPal account and by doing this I need a 4 digit confirmation code. I have checked my bank statements online and on paper yet I still cannot find this 4 digit confirmation code. What do I need to do to find / get it?

Hi dinsleybecca,

Thanks for posting on the Community Forum and sorry to hear about the issues you're having with locating your confirmation code.

In general, you'll find the 4 digit code on your bank statement beside the 1p deposit which PayPal would have made to your bank account when you initiated the process to confirm your bank. The code should appear in your bank account within the next few minutes, but may take up to two hours, depending on your bank.

When you know the 4-digit code:

1. Go to www.paypal.com/uk and log in to your account.
2. Click Profile near the top of the page.
3. Click My money.
4. Click Unconfirmed next to the bank account to confirm.
5. Enter the 4-digit code and click Confirm.
