PayPal asking for street number?

I'm soon to be employed by a US company who will be paying my wages through Paypal. For this reason I need to remove the recieving limit on my account, which I think is £2000 or around that amount.
So I have gone through the process:
'view your account limits' > 'lift limits' > 'personal details'
I'm being asked to update my personal details. No problem. Name, DOB, phone number, email, all fine.
One of the manditory fields however is 'street number' - which we do not have in the UK. I have a regular UK address. House name, road name, town, postcode. I have tried Google searching more information on street numbers and it seems to be limited to the US and Canada.
I have emailed the help centre twice and just got the same response each time - a generic email that does not address my problem.
Are there any PayPal staff or users out there that can provide some insight?
Thank you
Dan

Hi Kernowlass,
I'm in the UK, and using a UK PayPal account, that's why I don't understand why 'street number' is a manditory field.

Hi Stephen,
Thank you for your reply - I tried this and unfortunately it didn't work.
- Flat number: Blank (I leave this blank)
- Building Name: Blank (I leave this blank)
- Building Number: 123 (I use real house number)
- Street name: fake street (I use real street name)
Street Number: 123 (I have tried leaving it blank which it won't accept, tried using '1', the actual number of my house and '123' and no joy. - Town/city (I use real town name)
- County (I use real county)
- Postcode: E17 3EL (I use the real postcode in this format)
When I click on 'verify my details' the spinning 'loading' wheel comes up briefly and nothing happens. I click on it again and I get the attached image as a notification.

Can i suggest you try another browser?
With some of these paypal techie glitches using another browser sometimes works.
Also clear any history / cookies etc first.

Sorry about that. Did you contact customer service and speak to someone about it from PayPal?
