Account type: Business. Based in Philippines and opening currency is PHP. Currently we set the primary currency to USD since we have foreign clients. Now the questions are:
1.) Would like to confirm if will we be charged any transaction or service fees for currency conversions if we will transfer the USD balance we have now to our PHP bank account linked here in PayPal?
2.) How and where do we request an increase in our receiving amount limit threshold so we can prevent the holding of funds upon receipt of payment?
3.) Will we be able to link a debit card with a different name than our account name in PayPal?
Hope someone can help us with this. Thank you!

Hello @GFJPI,
Welcome! Thanks for visiting PayPal's Community Forum. We're glad to hear you've chosen PayPal for your payment processing needs. I'll be happy to answer your questions and point you in the right direction.
Transfers to your bank are always done in the local currency. If you have USD in your PayPal account, it will be converted to PHP upon transfer to your PH bank. You can find the relevant fees listed here.
If you are a new seller with PayPal, there is a higher than normal likelihood your payments may experience a hold from time to time. Here's a Help Center article to guide you through any New account payment holds you may encounter.
For security reasons, we normally do not recommend adding someone else's debit or credit card onto your account. The card should be under the account owner or business name registered with PayPal.
I hope that clears things up!

Thank you for the response. I would just like to clarify, so regardless if we open a dollar account with our local bank it will still be automatically converted to PHP upon transfer regardless of currency of account correct?
As for requesting an increase in the receiving threshold, based on the link provided we should just wait until we have good transaction history as there is no buttons or someone to message for the increase request?
for the linking of debit card it is clear now that it should be the same name as account name. Thank you so much for taking the time to answer our questions.

@GFJPI, welcome back! Thanks for your reply. That is correct. Regardless of what currency you use with your local bank, all transfers from a Philippines PayPal account will normally be transferred as PHP. And yes, you would normally just need to wait until you have established some transaction history with PayPal before any kind of review would be able to be completed.
Please feel free to reach out to our Customer Support if you have any questions or concerns more specific to your account.
Have a great day!
