app won’t even let me edit my profile(it says cannot confirm it was me)

it just keeps saying sorry, “we can not confirm it was you” even though i keep writing my password it doesn’t work

I am sorry to know the trouble you're facing while accessing your PayPal account. I recommend you to try uninstalling and installing the PayPal app to login to your account. You can also try to login from a different device/browser to get back to your account. If the issue persists, please reach out to the PayPal team via phone/Message us to get this resolved. Please click on the 'Contact Us' option at the bottom of PayPal page. From there, click on 'Password and account access ' and then 'Login issues' to see the Call us/Message us options at the bottom of Page during business hours.
