Long story short, I messed up.
I am not in the US and never have an entity in the US but registered my account with a random US address (yap, I was stupid).
It was fine for small transactions but recently I got an 18k USD payment from my business partner. Now Paypal is asking me to provide a tax ID if I want to use the full account functions (including transferring the 18k out), but I don't have it.
What should I do?

Ask PayPal to reverse the transaction, because you rather not provide SSN/tax ID. Once that’s done, you close the account then find another way to get paid. Try Wise formerly Transferwise, or bank wire transfer. Please use real info to open financial accounts.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂

this might be my last resort but if possible I would like to see if there are any other alternatives 😞
But yeah, thank you for one possible solution 😄
