Can't use Passkey

Hello everyone,

I want to use my YubiKeys (5 NFC and 5C NFC, firmware 5.7) for Passkey authentication.

To do so:

1. log-in to my account

2. click the gear wheel

3. click "security"

4. click on "Passkeys"

After that keeps telling me the: "No passkey can be created on this device or browser. You can find out what is supported in our FAQ."

Tried this procedure on my:

- Archlinux host (using Firefox or Chromium browsers)

- Google Pixel 7 Pro (Graphene OS installed) using Vanadium browser

On  both devices I'm able to deploy/use Passkeys for various different websites/-services e. g. Amazon, Cloudflare, GitHub...!

So the question is what's the problem in regards to PayPal? Is this feature not fully rolled out for Germany?

Request you to kindly refer to the help centre article to understand the process on What is a passkey and how do I use it to log in to my PayPal account?. You can reach out to our customer support team to know what can be done next or to get an understanding of the possible solution to the issue raised. Please reach out to the Support Team by clicking the contact us option at the bottom of PayPal page. If your unable to login into your PayPal account do reach us via phone and kindly select "Call us as Guest"

Thanks for your reply Shradha, I had to realize, that PayPal right now only offers Passkey usage in combination with Smartphones. My use case won't rely on this kind of hardware but rather FIDO2 capable tokens like my YubiKey 5/5C.
