The app asks me for a code from google authenticator every single time. When I switch apps and back the app breaks so I have to force close to get back to a screen where i enter the code. I have face id and passkey both of which are plenty secure. I dont want to disable 2FA. Previously it would ask at every few weeks. Now it should not ask at all on my phone since i have a passkey.
I’m having this same issue for the last few weeks on iPhone 15. Attempt to login to PayPal app. It asks for 2fa from GA. I switch apps to get the code, then switching back, PayPal will change its screen and be stuck until a force close. App is completely unusable and broken in this use case.

I do understand your concern regarding login issue due to the multi-factor authentication into your PayPal account. This adds an additional layer to the account login process by needed the PayPal users to enter two or more authentication methods for verification which provides extra security. Please reach out to our customer support team to know what can be done next or to get an understanding of the possible solution to the issue raised. Since you are unable to login into your PayPal account do reach us via phone by selecting the "Call us as Guest" option on our PayPal homepage.

Exactly the same on Iphone 13. It's driving me nuts. Can't do any payments on my iphone. I log in, it sends a text, I change screens to see the OTP code, go back to the PayPal screen to just a whirring circle. I've also tried the authenticator app, thinking I could see the OTP code there without completely moving off the PayPal screen. Oh - it doesn't like that either because deems the already open and visible authenticator code invalid.
