I just opened an account from my desktop browser. I haven't installed the app.
When I tried to transfer my first funds in, it prompted me to use my phone (via q-code) to scan my ID and my face. However, something has gone wrong during the face scanning and my smartphone browser froze after scanning my face by going grey and not showing any message, but the loading icon. After ten minutes it disconnected and that's it.
I have gone back to the desktop logged off and logged on again. Tried the same but instead of prompting like before it just gives me the message "something is wrong, try later". few hours later still like this.
Nothing in the settings about uploading your document or anything. I found the "face scanning" setting and deleted the face scanning data. Hoping it would work. Nope still "something is wrong" message.
I tried to send a request for payment to myself (another email address not connected to the paypal account) and tried the option "make payment without using paypal" but it doesn't work, just the message "something is wrong".
So now I am with a useless account. How can this be sorted out?
