Unacceptable postcode

Hi

I was trying to register a new credit card in addition to my existing one with Paypal.

When entering the billing address for this new card, which is different from the billing address on the earlier card, it won't accept my postcode. I assume that's because the postcode in the new country has a different format from the postcode where I originally registered with Paypal.

Ok, so I thought I better add the new address. But same problem again. Apparently, you can't have addresses in two different countries? Is that correct?

If so, do I need to eliminate my original Paypal account and start over?

Or, can I have two separate Paypal accounts with different country addresses and different cards associated with the account?

Or do I just have to stop using Paypal when wanting to charge my purchase to the new card?

I would've asked Paypal but they're very good at hiding from customers, no email, and the phone contact doesn't work. "We have closed our lines."

Quite infuriating.

Many thanks in advance for any light you can shed on this.
