Two Emails on One Account-Question about a Purchase

Good Evening,
Ok, the other night, I purchase something from a merchant, and used paypal. When the shipping and billing address fields auto-filled, it auto-filled my email (with an email that was not my primary email for PP)--when I saw that, I figured I'd just continue the purchase as a guest and everything went ok. Now, I'd like to be able to stay on top of the purchase, and make sure everything is copacetic. So, today, I went into my PP account and changed my secondary email to the email used in the guest purchase from the other day.
Question: Is PP's system intuitive enough to migrate that purchase under the secondary email into my main account, even though the primary email is different? OR, is there a way to contact PP and ask them to migrate that transaction manually?
I hope this is not confusing and it is not a pressing issue, but would like to redress this if possible and get that purchase under my main account. Any advice, suggestions, help any one can offer would be greatly appreciated.
