I cannot see where in PayPal interface if a buyer's provided shipping address is confirmed, or not. Some previous articles and threads sorta mention where it used to be shown. But it seems the design has changed.
Is there a way now to check if an address is PayPal "confirmed?"
You will see this info on the email receipt sent to you once the payment is made. You can also check this on your activity, just click on the transaction to view the details and the status will show usually next to the shipping address.
How is it helpful to the Seller to only be able to see if a buyer's shipping address is a confirmed address once the transaction is completed? As a Seller, I have been in the habit of specifying that I will only ship to Paypal-confirmed addresses, and I used to be able to verify a buyer's confirmed address BEFORE I completed the transaction. Now it appears that I cannot do that! So, what am I supposed to do if the address comes back "Unconfirmed" after the transaction is completed??
