On vacation in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and trying to set up PayPal as a payment for Grab, their version of Uber. I'm asked to verify my account via a text code sent to my US phone number which I don't have access to, of course, because the phone number is not set to roam. Anyone else experienced this and come up with a solution? Customer service (chat) didn't have a clue. I checked out my account settings to see if I could have the verification code sent to my email instead, but I didn't see any such option. Anybody enabled the 2FA authentication option? And does that mean your account is verified via that method instead of the text code to your phone number? Thanks for your responses.
