Denied cash withdrawal via PayPal Cash Card/App at Walmart

Hi, all. I was just denied just a cash withdrawal via PayPal Cash Card at Walmart. Customer service is not available, I suspect due to covid and the holidays. I followed the directions in the app, went to Walmart, showed them the withdrawal code from my phone. I was denied. I requested $500, I have $1204 on the card. I have not made ANY withdrawals today, so I have not exceeded any spending or withdrawal limit. Any ideas???

The limit with the card is $400 so try that. The $500 is for Get Cash via PayPal app.

The limit for withdrawals at a store (like Walmart) is $500. The phone app said I'll receive 497 after the fee. There should have been no reason to be denied. The line at Walmart was VERY long at the customer service desk. Breaking it up into multiple withdrawals was not practical. Bottom line is I stayed within the guidelines and was denied.

You can try again at a different Walmart and get the code while you're there just before your turn because your code could have expired?

@sharpiemarker, I did use the app.  I used the app to generate the code to present to the customer service person at walmart. Still denied.

I see...contact customer service. Click HELP at the top menu, then click MESSAGE CENTER on the next page under the search bar because the forum consists of other PayPal users and have no access to your account.

Happened to me as well! Each time I called customer service they claimed they fixed the issue and each time it was a different issue. Customer Service didn’t even come close to helping. I was also annoyed as each time one goes out to a crowded place like WalMart, that increases one’s chance of being exposed to COVID. I’m surprised that this issue doesn’t lead to a class action lawsuit. It should.
