Trouble Linking to GESA Credit Union

Here in Washington State, the teacher's credit union recently merged with a credit union started for General Electric Supervisors. Inspirus (formerly known as Seattle Educators Credit Union of Washington, SECUWA) merged with GESA (General Electric Supervisor's Association).

I am trying to update my PayPal Wallet to reflect the change in my credit union, but have been unsuccessful.

Has anyone else had an issue with this change? If so, how did you resolve it?

Thank you.

I know you posted this a few months ago, but i too am having issues getting gesa to link the fast way. Only way around it was just having them send two small deposits to confirm my bank account. So had to do it the slow 2-3 day way instead of instant link. I think it may be an issue with the business paypal uses to confirm accounts. looks like they use Yodlee where as most companies use Plaid which is a more well known verification company. I have had zero issues linking my accounts to other platforms with GESA when they use Plaid.. This yodlee seems to be the only one I am having issues with, so it may be on paypals side or that GESA doesn't recognize Yodlee as legit.

Thanks for the info! How do I get them to send 1-2 deposits?

After you try to connect with their auto system, their should be a clickable link that says something like "try another way" or similar. I believe before you also do the auto way you can choose to connect back account another way as well. It has been a couple months now and can't 100% remember but I know it is there. Then after a few days, you'll see 2 small deposits in your bank and you'll go back to PayPal and it'll ask what the amount of each one was and you'll enter those amounts to verify your account. Hope this helps
