UK: unable to transfer money into my bank account as it "does not accept transfers".

Hi – for some reason paypal is saying my bank doesn't accept transfers: 

'These can’t be used for transfers

Some banks and cards don’t accept transfers just yet.'

How can I fix this? I doubt whether it is true, as the only account that PP offers for me to transfer money into, is a defunct account now closed. My bank account is a Starling. But it also listed an old nationwide account as unable to accept transfers.

Paypal does not accept virtual / digital bank accounts.

Hi I'm trying to add Starling bank to PayPal are they an accepted bank, I still have NatWest details in, before I delete Nat West I would like confirmation Starling Bank is acceptable.

Do I have to delete NatWest first before adding Starling Bank if they are an accepted bank?
