seller want me to confirm receipt before receiving it!!!

Hello.. So i bought a coffee machine worth more then 1000$ from a website The seller add the tracking number on the PayPal transaction (unknown shipping company) And emailed me that he did shipped it and requesting me to confirm receipt so he can receive the money for the item that i didn't receive it yet!!! ( if i confirm it do i lose buyers production) ?

Hi, 

 

Confirming receipt means that you have received the item and have it checked and agreed to the status of it. Just in case, for your own protection, I suggest not to do it because this a ton of money we are talking about; unless you already received the item.

 

Putting the money on hold means that Paypal just wants to make sure that you as a Buyer already has your item before the seller can get access to the funds so disputes will not be an issue.

First of all thank you for your reply... I won't confirm the receipt until i receive the machine.. I did inform the seller of my decision... And surprisingly he threatened me to cancel the shipment after its already shipped by the carrier... ( which is unknown carrier ) I'm a patient man if he did play games i will cancel it and looking for another trusted website
