About Linking BPI debit card to Paypal

Hi, I have some problem here, When I entered my bpi account to link to paypal, it only says "checking" Ive linked it back in the first week of October. Up until now like its the 4th week already it only says checking....

Is this broken or theres an issue here? I searched somes old topics here that people had no problem transferring their money to bpi despite theyre accounts were only written as checking

Pls help, I am worried my money would float somewhere that it wont reach my bpi acct if i followed or risked transferring it while it says checking

Welcome to our Community!

What I think you are seeing here is the type of bank account you have added. It is a Checking account, in some countries they call it a Current account that is used for day to day banking or just a regular bank account. We also have the option to add a bank account as a Savings account. So it is not actually checking your account. Please make sure the name and address on your PayPal account match those as the appear on your bank account, as this might lead to a withdrawal failure.

same thing happened to me, getting tired of this bs, you really can't trust your hard earned money to them, i transferred money to my bpi on nov 15, and it's already the 26th, money still isn't there, i called bpi and they said there is no floating money what so ever. I might well just delete this account and use western union instead. it's very frustrating!
