I'm in China and can't call the help line

I'm in China trying to add my Chinese bank account and I can't.  Paypal needs to verify my ID by text or phone call.  I can't receive a text on my phone because I had to trade the SIM card out and the number Paypal has to call me is a phone number I haven't had for 1 years.  I can't call the help center because I don't have an international plan on my phone.  There is no webchat option.  How do I contact them?

You can't add a Chinese bank account to a U.S paypal account.

No kidding?! I didn't ask about putting a Chinese card on my American Paypal account; I opened up a Paypal account in China for that.  My question was how to contact the Paypal help desk other than by phone.  My guess is that this is the only other way to get help.

Well why didn't you say you had opened a Chinese paypal account, we are not telepathic.

Your country location for your Paypal account was showing as U.S so I took it that you were in China trying to add a card to a U.S paypal account.

So if I 'thought' the answer was to inform you that you couldn't add a China card on a U.S Paypal account to save you phoning then I would do that.

All you had to do was say 'thanks but I have opened a China Paypal account but still can't add it' and I would have given you more information.
