Prerequisites:
- Your PayPal’s email address must be confirmed.
- You must have a PayPal verified Business account.
- PayPal only allows for the creation of either an API Signature or Certificate at any given moment. If you already have an API Certificate, you'll need to remove it before you can create an API Signature. Discuss with your developer before deleting an API Certificate as removing the certificate while it's still in use in your application could potentially lead to payment failures.
Here’s How:
- Log into your PayPal Account using your Live credentials.
- Click on Account Settings from the top right corner.
- Under Account & Security, click Account Access.
- Click Update beside API Access.
- Click NVP/SOAP API Integration.
- Select API Signature and click on Agree and Submit.
- You will see your API username, API password & Signature.
