Fees on both sides: seller and recipient

Hi there,

I sent some money to a friend and I was charged some money, which I expected due to the exchange rate (it's from british pound to euros) but also she got charged about 25 euros. Why did this happen? We got charged about 50 pounds for the whole thing... The full amount she was mean to get was 675 euros.
