Invoice Buyer Protection?

So I am going to be making a purchase but the seller does not want me to pay directly through goods and services, I just wanted to confirm if invoices cover buyer protection or not before I make the purchase.

Paying a PayPal Invoice or sending money as goods and services through the Send & Request tab includes Purchase or Buyer Protection.

Do not send money as friends and family in exchange for goods and services. There will be no refunds or purchase/buyer protection therefore no incentive for seller to ship order but to disappear and block communication. So beware.
