Opening a business account

Can anyone tell me why I have just had to open a business account? I have had to put in that I am selling educational supplies. I am a teacher! I am not a business. I intend to use PayPal less, so PayPal geeks. You have now lost most of my custom. Well done

Don't know, this is user to user forums, not customer service with access to others' account. Explain what lead to it? Error messages, account limitation asking for documents?? Were you wanting to open a PayPal account in general and selected business account type by accident?

Down grade to a personal account by contacting customer service:

1. Log on.
2. Click HELP at the top menu.
3. Scroll down and click CONTACT US.
4. Scroll down to click CALL US or other contact options.
