Paying for something on OfferUp

I want to buy an item from OfferUp.

Seller says send money to <removed>

If I do NOT choose 'Friends & Family' rather 'Paying for an item or service', am I covered by Buyer Protection?

Great question!! Friends & Family transactions do not come with Purchase / Buyer Protection, only Goods & Services transactions are covered by Purchase / Buyer Protection.
