I don’t use PayPal enough on a personal level, only really on eBay or other sites I’m unsure of, however, recently looking to purchase something from someone, they want to use pay pal, but how much will they, as the seller, be charged if I use the goods and services option, rather than friends and family.

Depends what country they are in but if they are in the US then its 2.9% + 30cents.
Do not use the family/friends option if you are purchasing goods as its against paypal rules / helps the seller evade paying their paypal fee / negates any buyer protection you would have had.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
