robocall about $399.00

Phone #s not permitted]Robocaller (Pompano Beach, FL) message,  this call is from Pay Pal we have diverted $399.00 from your account that is $399.00 from your bank card if you want to refund them press one or press 2 for cancel the payment Thank you. I believe this to be some kind of fraud, I hung up.

You were correct ignoring the text message. This is not a genuine message. For the US  PayPal, the short code is 729725, so the SMS will show as being sent from 729725 when it is genuine.

I’m getting dozens of robo calls with the same message. I blocked and then the use a new number. Dozens of them every day.

I've also received a robocall about paypall deducting money from my account, but mine was for $299.00, press 1 or 2 also.  I just blocked them, but this isn't the first time I've received the calls.
