How does Pay Pal Credit work?

I have an amount allocated as 'running' credit - like a card and I pay if off each month. I have sufficient funds to pay for an item which offers both this method for payment and also 24 months' credit. The advertised rental for a villa was for one night, with a minimum of 7 nights, we negotiated a price for 14 nights and they sent me an invoice, however, that invoice is not giving me the option to use any type of pay pal credit. Cannot get an answer anywhere, but wonder why this is? Does anyone know what I can or should do, this is a time limited offer so there is some urgency.

How do I select PayPal Credit as my payment method?
There are two ways to choose PayPal Credit. If a merchant has a PayPal Credit button at checkout, you can simply choose that option. If you don’t see a PayPal Credit button, check out with PayPal. Then you’ll have the option to select PayPal Credit as your payment method.
Please be aware that you cannot combine Paypal Credit with any other payment methods when making your payment.
