Since December 2015, you can now accept Chip & PIN, and swipe payments from American Express cards on your PayPal Here Card reader. With PayPal Here we currently support the following card types: MasterCard, Visa, Maestro, and AMEX. Contactless payments with AMEX cards will be supported later in 2016. There is no additional cost for accepting AMEX cards; our normal fees apply.
