Complete Purchase Button failing

Hello...

I am running a community, Xenforo software. When folks purchase a site supporter - It takes them to the PayPal (PayPal url) screen to Complete the purchase. For the last 48 hours, I have had 7 people and 2 tests of my own, Where the COMPLETE PURCHASE button is not working at all to complete the purchase. It seems dead. I clicked it and clicked it and clicked it as have others and nothing.

We have no server errors, no software errors in logs, and no console errors showing when in the PayPal url to complete this. Any ideas? New issue. Never had anything like it in years. Oh, it is happening on 2 communities, have not tested the others yet.

Thank you for posting to the PayPal community.

 

Our product development team have fixed the issue in LIVE production. 

 

I would suggest to please process a test payment via card which is not linked to your account, since merchants can't process self payments.

When I try to make an online purchase and click on the PayPal button to complete the purchase, I get a blank screen and can't use PayPal.  This has happened numerous times.

Welcome to the PayPal Community Forum! I'm sorry to hear you've run into issues making a purchase. Have you tried clearing your browser's cache, cookies, and history? If that doesn't work, I'd recommend trying another device before reaching out to our Customer Support teams for assistance.

@PayPal_JonK  This is definitely an issue on PayPal's side.  Browser cache has been cleared.  I've tested it many times and multiple members all over the US and other countries are having the same issue.  The Complete Purchase button will only work if I require the buyer's shipping address for digital subscription which should not be.

This is definitely a Paypal issue and I would recommend that most people who are in this forum already are very tech savvy. "Simple solutions" are a good suggestion but should be handled without talking down.

Yes, same! I’m in the middle of a launch and it stopped working some point on 6/20. I’ve been going round and round with PayPal tech support and getting absolutely no where.

Make sure you are on Merchant Account support at paypal-support.com the regular customer service will not be able to help and infact may say everything is good.

Good lord, i thought i was going nuts.  I'm trying to buy something and Paypal has blown it.  "Complete Purchase button still broken as of 17:17 CET
