Customers are suddenly not redirected to Paypal anymore. Cryptic Error-Code that doesn't help.

Hello Community,

I am running a Joomla based Shop with the Phoca-Cart component.

Up until a few days ago everything was working fine.

Now suddenly, customers are not redirected to paypal anymore.

I did not update anything, I did not change anything. The system was running smoothly all by itself, and now, out of the blue, this error occurs when people are redirected to paypal.

What happened? What can I do now?

Thank you for posting to the PayPal community.

I believe you are referring to PayPal Website Payments Standard (WPS) is a legacy integration.

I would suggest that you cross-check your button code with your internal team. Please follow the steps provided in the link below:

Also, please try to process a test payment using a card that is not associated to your PayPal Account, since merchants can't process self-payments.

Note: We recommend merchants to integrate our latest PayPal Checkout (Smart button) product.
