How can we get PayPal and Club Express- to only push the Amount paid MINUS PayPal Fees

We recently started using Club Express to manage our membership. The driving force was to allow members to pay online and SEE their entire payment records as well as attendance. We use PayPal as the payment processor.

The issue is that a member pays (gross amount), PayPal removes their fees (net amount), but PayPal pushed the gross amount paid to Club Express instead of the actual net amount. It looks as though we have more money than we actually do. How do we get PayPal to only push the Net Amount to Club Express?

The communication of payment data between PayPal and Club Express is typically managed through the integration and settings within the Club Express platform. Here are steps you might consider: 1. **Club Express Settings:** Check the payment integration settings within your Club Express account. There might be an option to specify whether you want to receive gross or net amounts. Adjusting this setting could address the issue. 2. **PayPal API Integration:** Review how Club Express integrates with PayPal through API. Sometimes, PayPal API calls allow you to specify the information you want to receive. Check if there are settings related to gross or net amounts in your PayPal API integration. 3. **Contact Club Express Support:** Reach out to Club Express customer support for assistance. They may have specific recommendations or insights into how to configure the integration to meet your requirements. 4. **PayPal Payouts:** If Club Express allows it, you might explore PayPal Payouts API, which allows you to send payments to multiple recipients in a single call. This way, you could specify the net amount for Club Express. 5. **Custom Development:** If the existing options don't meet your needs, you might consider working with a developer to create a custom solution that handles the PayPal data in the way you want. Always ensure that any changes you make comply with PayPal's policies and terms of service. Additionally, before making any adjustments, it's advisable to consult with your technical team or Club Express support to avoid unintended consequences in your system.

Good day @alwatson

Thank you for posting to the PayPal community.

I would suggest to please contact your website developer or the support of the third-party platform (eCommerce) to verify the integration code. Merchant should manage their internal website API request calls and ensure that the required amount value is passed to the PayPal system.

If you are still experiencing issues, please create an MTS ticket via the following URL  - https://www.paypal-support.com/s/?language=en_US  .Please ensure that you provide detailed information and error details when submitting the ticket.

Sincerely,
