How to add Paypal button to shopify checkout?

It's so confusing, how do I add paypal button to my checkout page on shopify? Can anyone personally help me step by step in doing so, it would be appreciated.

Thank you for posting to the PayPal Merchant Community.

Since Shopify is a shopping cart, it is not a good idea to put a separate PayPal button on the shopping cart. The separate PayPal button will not communicate with the Shopify checkout. 

If you want to create a Pay link button here are the steps (you can paste the link to Shopify):
