Linking Bank card to paypal

Please help. I'm struggling to link my bank card. I keep getting a notification that says my card is linked to another PayPal account, but I deleted my other account.

I understand your concern of not being able to link your card to your PayPal account. In order to remove your linked card from your closed account please reach out to our customer support team. Please contact our customer support by clicking 'contact' at the bottom of the PayPal.com and reach us through call and if you're unable to login kindly select "Call us as Guest" or by referring to this link https://www.paypal.com/smarthelp/contact-us.
