ASOS took money when I didn’t proceed with my order

I went to order £139 worth of items on the ASOS app using PayPal, but when i clicked through to pay, a notification popped up stating that some of the items had sold out and asked whether i wished to proceed, i clicked no/exit and went and changed a few items in my basket. I then proceeded with this second payment using apple pay successfully. I checked my orders section of the app as well as my emails and only the second order went through but when i checked my bank statement and paypal, the first amount had ALSO been taken out of my account meaning i had basically been charged twice for one order. What should i do? I worry ASOS won’t be able to refund me as there is no order number etc linked to the first payment.
