I have made a payment to a company called Tastecard in which they renewed my subscription, however, I had called them many times to try and cancel it before the renewal date and was never successful, meaning that the payment is unauthorised. I've also contacted them by email, both for cancellation and now a refund, but heard nothing back. I opened a "Unauthorised access" dispute through PayPal, but they have rejected my claim. How can I get my money back?

To cancel these kinds of transactions on your end, you always go to:
Go to Account Settings (gear icon) > Payments > Manage Automatic Payments
Select merchant on left, click Cancel on the right.
Otherwise, PayPal considers it legit unless you canceled in the method above and you were still billed.
You'll need to contact the merchant and request a refund.
If merchant don't respond, contact PayPal and see if you can change the report to billing error instead of unauthorized because unauthorized is when someone broke into your account and did something, not for failing to canceling billing agreements or paying by mistake or duplicate transactions.
Then provide PayPal info that you emailed the merchant several times to cancel but they didn't and that you didn't know you can cancel it from your end or knew how to and set up a dispute for you to start a dialogue with the merchant to request a refund or ask PayPal to contact the merchant for you.
Push comes to shove, file a dispute with your card issuer if you paid with a card.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
