You only send a friends / family payment if it is a 'gift' of money to a mate or family member.
If you send it that way as a payment for goods you will have no paypal buyer protection.
If you have sent it as a payment for goods / services then any account can receive those payments ie personal OR business.
She would have received the funds IF it was sent to the correct email address and if its marked as completed in your paypal account.
