Depop purchase

I’ve made a few purchases from depop and realised that when i purchase the item (eg. $40) the money doesnt get taken out of my bank. i purchased via my bank account rather than my card and i was just wondering if that was a reason to why? the seller has said they have received the money but it hasnt even been taken out from my bank account

PayPal paid ahead to the seller for you, the money will be debited eventually. Make sure the funds are there to cover the transaction(s).
