Fees when sending money from India to Australia?

Hi everyone!

 

So my friend in India, just sent me some money, I am located in Australia. They sent me $1.68 AUD, and I can see that 0.36 (36 cents) was deducted as fees, so I ended up receiving $1.32. So I've ended up paying 22% fees. But below, it mentions 5% of send amount? I'm a little confused. 

If they send me 1000 AUD for example, will the maximum fees be $5.99 ?
