How can I make anonymous donation to an individual's fundraiser?

A family member is doing a fundraiser to cover adoption costs and I'd like to donate anonymously. When I go to make the donation it give me the option to send address so they can send a thank you. If I opt "no" will my email be masked? Or just my physical address.

I want to give a sizable chunk but don't want to make things awkward in person so I really don't want them to know it was me. is this possible?

No, not possible. It will show name and email address as the barebones info PayPal gives to the recipient.
