Hello. I just bought an item on Ebay and was expecting to pay for it with my Paypal balance.
I have more than enough in my balance to pay for the item.
The seller accepts Paypal.
My Paypal balance is in US dollars and the seller is in USA.
I used to be able to pay for purchases with Paypal balance, but now I can't.
I tried to set Paypal Balance as the preferred payment method in my Paypal account, but that option does not exist.
I can set a credit card as the preferred payment method in my Paypal account. A credit card is already selected.
I can pay with a credit card, through Paypal, but I do not want to do that.
How can I pay for an item purchased on Ebay with Paypal balance????
Thank you.

Hi greengrass1,
Welcome to the community forum and thanks for posting.
When you use PayPal to send money, we always attempt to take the funds from your PayPal account balance first. If you have no PayPal balance, or not enough to cover the whole transaction, the remainder will be taken from the card registered on your account. To change the payment method for a transaction, click the 'Change' or 'More Funding Options' link on the final page during the Send Money process and select a different payment method. If you're unable to use your balance as your payment method, I would suggest contacting us via Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/PayPalUK/, Twitter - @AskPayPal, email or phone and we would be happy to advise.
