I bought items from etsy and I used a discount code at the last minute

I was buying a bunch of neckalces for my friends as christmas presents and I had a discount code I needed to enter at some point. I couldn't find where to put the discount code when I started the transaction, so I was hoping I could do it at the end, which I could.

The problem is, I was already charged the original amount to my bank account before I entered the discount code. It shows the correct amount on my paypal account, but my bank statement is still 20 dollars more than I was suppose to pay.

Will my bank eventually change the amount I was charged or do I have to manually get my money back? I have wells fargo if that helps at all.

Thanks for asking your question in our community and welcome.

I understand that an incorrect amount was taken from the bank but the correct amount is showing in your PayPal account. It can happen that a 'reserve' is placed on the amount when an order is placed. When the seller accepts the order the amount should be correct. I would advise to keep an eye out to see if the correct amount is being deducted in the end. If the incorrect amount is taken from the bank please contact us.
