How prevalent is this problem -- I was making a purchase and using PayPal, which I've done a kazillion times. When I chose PayPal, I was not "sent" there to choose the credit card, PayPal Credit, or bank I wanted to use. The store I was purchasing from (online) chose my bank. THIS IS NOT WHAT I WANTED TO USE! So, dummy me had that transaction cancelled and tried it again -- this time, I personally and manually went to PayPal myself in the middle of the transaction and chose my preferred method, made sure it was linked, and returned to the website to make the purchase again! You guessed it -- once again, the transaction went directly to my bank! So now, two separate transactions have already been taken from my bank to the tune of almost $150 total! I have no idea when I'll get my money back. I tried to correct both of them, but instead cancelled the first and have decided to live with the second one. HAS ANYONE ELSE ENCOUNTERED THIS PROBLEM OF A MERCHANT VIA PAYPAL JUST AUTOMATICALLY USING THE BANK FROM THE WALLET AND NOT ALLOWING YOU TO ENTER A CREDIT CARD? Annoying, indeed!
