I just signed up today, but I haven't linked my credit card or bank account yet. Is it possible to receive money from PayPal without associating my bank account or credit card?

Thank you for your post on our community forum. 

I understand that you would like to know about the payment process in  your PayPal account. Please be informed, before sending any payment you need to add bank account to your PayPal account necessarily. Kindly confirm the bank account added to your PayPal account and post that you will be able to send/receive funds in  your PayPal account.
