See the archive on this same issue.  It appears that from the archive that it looks like this scam is still happening.  I just reviewed my account and found I've been charged for this since July 2017 and have no idea what it is for.   The  archive does not have a definitive explanation of what it's for and on my Skype account I have no subscriptions to anything  let alone  to "Skype <Removed>

Go into your automatic payment settings: account settings > payments > automatic payments to deactivate the Skype one. If you subscribe to something again in the future, it will create a new automatic payment profile there. Your Skype account could have been hacked. Don't link PayPal to anything you don't have an on-going authorized subscription to. File disputes on those charges if you haven't already through PayPal.
