hello there just wondering if anyone can help me 

i have been given a transaction code to receive £20 and i don't know what to do with it could anyone help it is 17 characters long

Hi @harryelliott,

17 characters long sequence does correspond to the length of PayPal transaction IDs.

When someone sends you money, you'll get an email notifying you about the payment.

This email will normally be sent to the email address that you've used to open your PayPal account.

Another way to view your received funds (and the corresponding PayPal transaction ID) is by logging into your PayPal account and looking at the recent transactions or by clicking the 'Activity' tab at the top of the page and clicking on the relevant transaction.
