Can sent money be recalled?

I'm about to sell an item through my ebay for around £750 and I'm understandably wary of how to process would pan out. I'm worried that because the amount of money being transferred is so large, ebay would request the money to be held for 21 days. I'm also wondering if the buyer sends the payment and it is held, can it be cancelled or recalled in any way that might result in me being scammed?

Hi @Pm00n

I hope all is well. Thank you for raising your concern. If your customer has sent you a payment for goods and services, the transaction can no longer be cancelled even if the funds are on put on hold by eBay.

When buyers pay with PayPal on any website, PayPal Buyer Protection covers them in case there is a problem. If an item doesn’t arrive or is significantly not as described, we will help buyers get a full refund.

Kind regards,
