Priceline sitting on funds!

Hi all,

 

I was wondering if anyone has had a similar experience?

 

Close to a week ago now, I was attempting to make a bid on a Priceline hotel and used my Paypal balance. For some reason, the site had some major hiccups that day and the transaction failed, but made no less than THREE separate debits from my Paypal balance. So essentially, I wound up being out for close to three times the cost that the hotel room for one night would've been.

 

First thing I did was call Paypal customer support. They asked me to call Priceline customer support. At first, they told me they could void the transaction and each representative, from either site, told me it would be back in my balance "by morning". Today, almost a week later, still nothing. I call up Priceline again, at the Paypal customer specialist's suggestion, and it's a whole different story, they tell me there is nothing that they can do, that I would just have to wait for it to fall off. The Paypal rep has sent them multiple emails now but they seem to all get ignored.

 

Oh and for extra fun? This whole mess has held up the functionality of my entire Paypal account.  So not only am I out hundreds of dollars for a hotel room I never got, but I can't really use Paypal for much else, either. This has been going on for almost an entire week!

 

Paypal has reached out to them again for another escalation but I was just wondering if anyone else has had anything like this happened and if so, how you got it resolved?

Super long ago but how long did it end up taking to receive funds? Same situation now been a week -__-
